Ayurvedic Diagnostics
The question, "How are you?", is by no means an empty phrase to our Ayurvedic physicians. A person's medical history is the main part of his or her stay at our Ayurveda health retreat and hotel. Based on the assessment of your individual mental and physical state, an individual programme is set up around treating your specific needs and achieving optimal results during your stay at the Parkschlösschen. This ensures individual care of each person. In doing so, your hereditary and genetic traits, as well as your present and past lifestyles, play the central roles.Ayurveda uses various diagnostic techniques to determine a person's state of health; the pulse, tongue and face are the main indicators.

Using three fingers, the Ayurveda physician can "feel" the mental and physical state of a person, as well as his mental and physical state at birth. In addition to professional competence, this requires many years of experience and extremely deep concentration.
The tongue
The tongue is the organ of speech used for conveying words, thoughts, terms, perception and ideas. In Ayurvedic medicine a discoloration of the tongue indicates certain physiological disorders or even diseases. The tongue can be coloured white, yellow-green, red or even black-brown.
The facial diagnosis
The face is a mirror of the body, the mind and the soul. For this reason, an Ayurvedic physician can read signs of imbalances of any kind in the face.
But the Ayurveda physician also takes the state of all other parts of the body such as nails, skin, lips and eyes into consideration. By using a medical questionnaire, patterns of bodily functions such as sleep, appetite, hunger, nutritional habits and other general life habits can be determined.
